Your privacy

The form

When you send the form we receive your name, the contact you give and your message: the provider, the fact and the link. Nothing else is collected, and you need no account.

Your name and contact are never published; we use them only to ask you about your message.

Counting visits

A small script served by this site counts visits. It sets no cookies and builds no profile. A click on a contact button on a provider’s page sends one event with the button type, the provider and its activities, and nothing about you.

Your location

Your location is asked for only after you press the location button. It stays in your browser while the tab is open, is used there to work out distances, and is sent nowhere, this site included.

A station, school or suburb you pick by name is remembered by your browser for your next visit.

The map in the filters shows OpenStreetMap streets. Opening it makes your browser load map tiles from OpenStreetMap’s servers, which see your IP address and the part of the map you look at, as any website would. The point you pick stays in your browser.

Listed providers and your rights

The list repeats what providers publish for their customers on their own websites and in their Google listings. Where a provider is a single person, a phone number or address appears only if that person published it.

We hold this information under the Privacy Act 2020 for one purpose: helping parents compare activities for their children. Nothing is sold and nobody is profiled.

Anyone named in the list can ask, through the form, to see the information we hold about them and to have it corrected or removed (information privacy principles 6 and 7). We reply within 20 working days. You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.

Deleting a message

To have a message you sent deleted, use the form again and say which one. We delete it within a month.
